Day 36 - Failed Deportation

Woohoo!  My next door neighbour came back!!  She came back in the  evening yesterday.  Her suitcase went to her country of origin which she had left when she was a kid but she didn't go there with her suitcase.  She seems  to have a big fight at the airport in Sydney. According to her, she went there with seven guards.  They recommended her to have water,  coffee, one after the other.  She drank some of them and soon became  dizzy.  She thought she had been drugged.  But she shook it off and  fought against the seven guards who tried to drag  her into the  plane.  Another seven guards turned up.  But she fought off.   I  remember my Japanese friend told me that my next door neighbour had had a  big physical fight against my ex-roommate Ms Serial Thief  once and the  emergency response guards (all male) had tried to break the fight and had  chased her in the basket ...

Day 8 - Findings of the Day

So far, every day was a busy day.  I was running around.  But because I have enough food this time unlike last time in Villawood in 2006, I am not losing weight.  I don't know whether it's good or not physically but psychologically, it's definitely good (even if I have to eat the same menu day after day after day...). After coming back to the Lima compound, I found that the Google's cloud storage called Drive was not blocked.   It may be blocked when I try to access it next time.  It often happens.  A site is not blocked when accessed for the fir...

Day 6 - Shopping System and an Abusive Guard

Day 6 started just like other days.  I had porridge with honey and  toast with jam for a breakfast and then started hand-writing an  affidavit at one of the picnic tables in the field.  It was sunny.  Nice  to work outside. After writing a paragraph, my styrofoam teacup was blown.  It was not  particularly windy but occasional wind made the paperwork a little  troublesome.  So I moved to the Lima compound.  When I passed in front  of the office, I asked a guard to make a temporary ID for shopping by  printing out my photo and data.  I got one.  So it was the time for  shopping.  I headed for the Shop, namely, the canteen in the community area. There is always a queue in the Shop.  I hate a queue but I had to  put up with it because there was no more hair conditioner.  Small bottles of shampoo and conditioner given to me at the induction didn't last long.  It is the  fifth da...
